Highly recommended. We booked my sons 11th birthday party. 9 11 year olds and 2 adults thoroughly enjoyed the bushcraft experience. Glenn the guide was knowledgeable and his enthusiasm was infectious. Every part of the day was enjoyable and well planned.

We had a wonderful day on the basic Bushcraft course - learning all about the plant species and their medicinal properties, making our own cordage, carving tent pegs, making fire and shelters and learning how to do these things safely and sustainably, leaving no trace. Glenn was brilliant, very knowledgeable and make it a very inclusive course. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it for adults or those with older teenagers. Really great day out in nature. Thanks so much Glenn for having us, we will be back for a weekend course at some point!

We spent the morning with a lovely and knowledgeable guy called Glenn! With 4 children ranging from 3-almost 11, he was able to engage with them all (at a distance) and build up their confidence and understanding of bushcraft skills. I really couldn't be more content as a parent, observing our children gain life long skills and self belief out in nature! What a brilliant company!

Fantastic day learning a wide range of practical hands on skills and knowledge. Great site - plenty of diversity and space and chance to see and do things.
Can't fault Glenn at all - really knew his stuff. He gave an interesting walk full of information of the local plantlife and uses. Also spot on with the hands on activities - encouraging, clear and relaxed while keeping safety in mind. Relaxed, friendly and patient but professional delivery. Always happy to answer questions.
Brilliant value for money - fitted a lot into the day.
Would recommend without hesitation and hope to attend another course in future.

Fantastic day out where we learnt knife and fire lighting skills, cordage, identified various plants and trees plus made shelters etc. all in an amazing setting close to Colchester. Highly informed and relaxed tutor. Kids and adults alike will love this, especially if you just want to get-away-from-it-all for a day's fun in the woods

Totally brilliant day with Glenn from Woods O Wisdom yesterday: he knows about his subject and is a good teacher, a rare combination. And before the jokes start: it was the least macho thing imaginable. Glenn shares his knowledge of the ancient lore of forest plants: which ones are edible, what their medicinal properties are, and teaches skills such as making string out of nettles and how to properly manage a campfire. Recommended.
